APAHE 2026 Post Conference Report Highlights

Asian Pacific Americans in Higher Education (APAHE) is dedicated to enhancing the educational opportunities for Asian and Pacific American students; promoting and supporting the hiring, retention, and advancement of qualified Asian and Pacific American faculty, staff, and administrators; and creating a better understanding of issues in the public affecting Asian and Pacific Americans in higher education.

Guided by our theme “Legacies in Action: Courage & Resilience,” 1,300 of our community gathered April 12-14, 2026, for APAHE 2026. The inaugural location of Anaheim, California proved popular as registration needed to be capped as ballroom capacity of the hotel was exceeded. In the current tumultuous time of budget cuts, program elimination, personnel reductions, and attacks on race/ethnic/community programs, our AANHPI family coming together to reflect, rejuvenate, educate, learn, strategize, and implement was the manifestation of our theme.
