Galvin Deleon Guerrero, EdD, is the president of Northern Marianas College. He has almost 30 years of teaching and leadership experience in K-12 and higher education. He holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in English literature, a Masters of Arts degree in School Administration, and an Education Doctorate in Organizational Change Leadership. He has also taught English and social studies at the secondary and post-secondary levels; has coached speech, debate, and mock trial; and has produced over 50 stage and film productions as a dramatist and filmmaker. He is devoted to his wife, Velma, and a proud father of Victoria, William, and Mary Shelley. Lastly, he has run four marathons and is certified by the Jedi Order of the Northern Marianas as Saipan’s #1 Star Wars Fan. The Force is strong with him.
