Dr. Ramones is an equity leader, executive administrator, professor, mentor, and professional consultant. He has a wealth of experience in California Public Higher Education at UC, CSU, and Community Colleges. Dr. Ramones was the co-Chair of the State Chancellor’s Office Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity Advisory Committee, he served as President of the Association of California Community College Administrators (ACCCA), and board member of the Association of Chief Human Resources Officers (ACHRO). Dr. Ramones has taught social justice and diversity, organizational theory, and human resources management in the master of public administration program at San Jose State University for the past 16 years. He holds a doctorate in organizational leadership and is a senior certified professional by the International Public Management Association for Human Resources. Dr. Ramones is an advocate for social justice and is focused on enhancing the lives of students through an equity minded approach.
