Dear APAHE Community,
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I want to assure you that APAHE’s 2025 Conference, “Choosing Humanity: Co-creating Joy, Justice, and Leadership,” along with the pre-conference sessions for AANAPISI practitioners, LEAP Advance, professionals new to higher education, and student leaders will proceed as planned. In these challenging times, it is more important than ever for us to come together and reimagine our shared future within higher education and beyond.
We are grateful to the over 800 attendees who have already registered before the early-bird deadline of February 21st. We also deeply appreciate the support of the organizations sponsoring and participating as exhibitors.
APAHE’s annual conference provides a unique, inclusive space for educational practitioners and leaders to explore issues affecting Asian and Pacific Americans in higher education. It also offers opportunities to share best practices that lead to student success, including community college transfer, baccalaureate degree completion, and career advancement. Although the current political climate is creating uncertainty and shaping policy discussions across higher education, APAHE remains committed to its mission: educating the public, advocating for policies that support student success, and advancing leadership in higher education.
In Community Spirit,
Dr. Rowena M. Tomaneng. President
Asian Pacific Americans in Higher Education
