APAHE President Wyman Fong was recently appointed Vice Chancellor of Human Resources for
Chabot-Las Positas Community College District. Wyman is in charge of the planning, development, implementation, and coordination of human resource services (Employment, Employee and Labor Relations, Benefit Services, Emergency Preparedness and Employee Safety, and Payroll Services) and organizational programs for the district.

Prior to this appointment, Wyman served as the district’s director of human resource services.
“I am honored to continue to serve the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District (CLPCCD) in this new capacity,” said Fong. “The CLPCCD is a good district, and I am heartened by the
vote of confidence from our leadership – from our faculty and staff to our Board
of Trustees.”
Prior to this recent appointment, Fong worked at Peralta Community
College District for over ten years, working in a number of classified and administrative
positions. A particular highlight of his career came in 2008, when Fong was awarded Administrator of the Year.
Wyman has held various roles in community college organizations dedicated to higher education. Most recently he was president of the Association of Chief Human Resource Officers and Equal Employment Officers (ACHRO/EEO), and is a current Board member for the Association of California Communiy College Administrators (ACCCA) .
